Sasja has had the opportunity to work on diverse projects within the telecommunications, financial services, television and education sectors. She has had three and a half years previous experience as a business analyst which has afforded her a unique background as a UX designer. She is able to understand and translate business needs into designs and journeys which are still intuitive and engaging for the end user.Sasja’s skillset as a UX designer includes rapid wireframing, prototyping, illustrations, implementing comprehensive design systems, and creating high fidelity, responsive and adaptive designs.In her current capacity, she has worked on design and journey enhancements for a company portal managing multiple employee phone records. She has additionally run with a USSD promotional campaign which involved user testing and research, and later with presenting the findings to key stakeholders.She led and ran with a project concerning short educational courses for a mobile app, combined with a web back office. The responsibilities included facilitating multiple design sessions with stakeholders, rapid prototyping during these sessions, creating and implementing a full design system, adapting the designs based off iterative feedback sessions, delegating work to the UX team and running daily stand ups.In her previous capacity as a Business Analyst, Sasja worked on and applied global SWIFT standards for financial transfers between international banks and has supported foreign account maintenance systems with large databases. She has additionally worked on systems that facilitate cross border transactions, and has gained knowledge on financial surveillance and reporting to the South African Reserve Bank on such transactions.Sasja is familiar with analyzing and synthesizing information provided by business stakeholders and turning those requirements into solid designs while keeping the user in mind. She has experience in compiling many designs and reviewing those of her peers and always participates in supporting the testing team during development.Competent and focused, Sasja is passionate about flows and processes, seeing how a system progresses and the different flows and decisions that are made along the way can influence the design. She also enjoys collaborating with people both in her immediate team and within the client space, identifying how the different relationships interact to produce a successful delivery.
