"Do AI-based decision agents in asynchronous video interviews predict job performance? - An investigation into the Validity and Comparison of two Video Interview Providers from Germany"In my Master's study, I investigated the validity of the new recruiting trend of asynchronous video interviews (AVI) and the use of artificial intelligence in them. My validity results allow conclusions to be drawn on whether companies should use AI in AVI.Generally, I investigated (1) if AI in asynchronous video interviews is generally capable of measuring the Big Five personality model based on vocal or facial cues extracted from the video recordings of applicantsand (2) if the AI assessment of the Big Five dimensions of Conscientiousness and Neuroticism can be used to predict the Job Performance of candidates
