I focus on sustainability transitions in resource (material) management and just city development.Examples of projects:- Byggherrelyftet: national project for enhancing the digital maturity in the building sector for a more sustainable building process. In the first phase it has led to a digital maturity assessment tool at byggherrelyftet.se- Policy lab Levande Gatuplan: analysing the policies that need to change to create more mixed rentals in city centres. - Sustainability program Forsåker: developing a program for building a sustainable new part of the city, including a process for the several project developers involved to adhere to the program.

Squarewise is an impact driven consultancy focused on innovation and sustainability. As a transition maker at Squarewise I worked on projects to find solutions to complex social and organizational challenges in the built environment. At Squarewise my focus was mainly on the sustainable energy transition and circular economy in the building sector in the Netherlands. That meant creating new partnerships and coalitions between stakeholders in the public and private sector, building new business models and supporting policy makers with analyses. At Squarewise I was challenged to develop my personal and professional skills with roles as project analyst, project manager and developer of new business opportunities. Apart from project management, I was involved in acquisition, development of the internal strategy and supporting younger colleagues to become successful transition makers.Examples of projects:Wijkkompas: a national project to gather the knowledge about fossil-gas free neighbourhoods and make a guide for people involved in the transition. I was involved in developing the first version of the final product which was launched at Wijkkompas.nlEnergy game: Serious game for local policy makers to plan the development of renewable energy. I led and played the game with local policy makers all around the Netherlands.Wijchen urban development: creating the strategy for a sustainable urban development , including circular recourse management, renewable energy sourcing and an inclusive process with the people of Wijchen.

The E-waste Race is a start-up within the waste sector. It organises community projects for collection of small electronic waste (sWEEE) where students of primary schools are challenged to collect sWEEE. As a project manager I worked with planning, execution and evaluation of e-waste races in different regions of the Netherlands. This involved engaging schools and students on the topic of e-waste and managing the race itself.

Entrade is a tech start-up in the energy- and waste sector organising and selling micro-biomass energy-plants. I assisted in starting up new projects in the UK; including acquiring suitable locations and partners as well as analysing possible sources of biomass. Also I did market analysis for possible future markets for the company.
