I am a critical pedagogue. Since August 2020, I work as an assistant professor of Philosophy of Behavioural Sciences and Pedagogical Sciences and Education at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. I am also an affiliated faculty member and international associate director of the CHHD (Center for the Study of Culture, Health, and Human Development) at the University of Connecticut. Throughout my teaching and research, I strive to bring back the culture and human development approach in the fields of education, pedagogy and developmental psychology. This approach can challenge normative assumptions and address universalities as well as cultural specificities of development and learning.In addition to my work, I am also a board member of Child Care International, an organisation that helps professionals in the field of child development and learning to learn from crossing borders to care and education institutes across Europe.
