I have years of experience working with all facets of computing technology. Having worked in different roles I am uniquely qualified to understand all the moving parts involved in delivering reliable and consistent end user and business need experiences. This lets me leverage my background in hardware, software, networking and applications to quickly narrow down issues and determine root cause to decrease downtime and maintain SLA's. My current role as a network engineer and Palo Alto firewall engineer keeps me fresh on the newest technologies and trends in all aspects of networking. My expertise allows me to contribute and improve both traditional campus lan/wan environments as well as datacenter environments utilizing ACI. In addition to my networking and firewall roles I also maintain our back end tools and utilities. I've implemented plug and play switch provisioning utilizing DNA center significantly speeding up deployment times as well as providing consistent code and configuration versioning preventing future issues. I am always searching for optimizations in workflow and tools to improve efficiency. I am able to pickup new technologies quickly and leverage them appropriately. I share this knowledge and constantly mentor and train others to improve the department.
