Hi, I'm Sassy, and my calling is to create a design that is stripped down to its bare core, just before it might lose its integrity and break down altogether. A design that does not provoke for the sake of it, does not tie down to the trend of the day, but instead tells visual stories without overwhelming the senses. I usually find it on the threshold between what is too much and what is too little, while looking for the balance of purpose, feeling, and quantity.I am currently a Creative Director at Quantive. My mission is to transform and establish a unique, recognizable digital footprint that belongs to and is easily recognized as the Quantive brand, all while maintaining uncompromising quality.Creating coherent customer experiences at scale is what I did during my journey at Telerik (now Progress) before joining Gtmhub. As the head of the Customer Experience design team, I shaped the art direction and design of NativeScript.org, Telerik.com, Progress.com, among others, establishing a sustainable design system upon which these brands continue to evolve.Before joining Telerik, I spent a decade creating digital experiences for diverse industries and clients at Netage (now Dynamo Software), which was considered the best Bulgarian digital agency of its time. Intertwining all the passion and skills felt right, and it was an added pleasure to be awarded for these efforts at design contests. My commitment to continuous learning and experimentation, and not being satisfied with whatever just works, has won me over 70 awards, from being featured in the "120 years of Bulgarian Art. Design." almanac to receiving a "Website of the Year" Techie Award in the UK.All these years and until today that passion has followed me even after I switched off for the workday. While I am not in front of a giant computer screen, I teach students in the Master of Arts Web Design Program at the National Academy of Arts – the school from which I also earned my master’s degree.The little spare time that is left, I devote to causes that support and promote women entrepreneurs and designers. Since late 2017 and until recently, I’ve served as a brand advisor for Femigrants, a non-profit organization located in Silicon Valley that connects female professionals and entrepreneurs, assisting them in their growth and prosperity. I also contributed to See It Be It, a Cannes Lions initiative aimed at promoting women in design leadership, where I served as a mentor and speaker.
