I am a software developer and data scientist.My work has involved a mixture of research and implementation. I have been involved in projects including computer hardware design, developing and implementing field deployable solutions, designing KPIs and reports for business units, and building the full stack of online government services.Much of my work has been in the area of knowledge discovery, developing and using tools from machine learning to gain insights into large datasets.I have taught several mathematics courses at the University of Waterloo, the University of Georgia, and Carleton University, including calculus, set theory, cryptography, and elliptic curves.My graduate work involved examining arithmetic combinations of certain measure zero sets. Both theoretic improvements and machine calculations were necessary to obtain the optimal results.
