- Led the Army ROTC program to achieve its largest commissioning class in over 30 years; more than twice its 10 year average rate, while sustaining a 50% decrease in available resources- Developed an innovative marketing, recruitment, and retention plan in collaboration with key UC Berkeley and Bay Area stakeholders resulting in a 30% increase in overall enrollment and nearly doubling the program’s projected officer production rate in less than two years- Interfaced weekly with university faculty and administrators to ensure the program met or exceeded UC Berkeley’s high standards of academic excellence as the senior Army officer on campus- Supervised the recruitment, training, education, and retention of 50+ cadets preparing to become Army officers in the Active Duty, U.S. Army Reserve, or National Guard forces; rated in top 5% of 275 peers

- Spearheaded a complete restructuring of Army Aviation intelligence operations into a unified command to drive improved resource management and increased efficiency of intelligence processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) capabilities worldwide- Selected ahead of senior officers to serve as the deputy commander for a specialized aviation unit consisting of 1,500+ military and civilian personnel with 60 manned and unmanned aircraft conducting continuous intelligence operations across Afghanistan- Rated in the top 5% of peers while coordinating all CONUS-based mission-essential planning and logistics across a staff of 1,000+ employees and representing unit requirements to the Department of the Army staff

- Led a 20-person planning staff responsible for directing the operations of over 650 government and contractor employees executing aerial counter-IED combat operations at a rate of 30+ missions per day utilizing 31 manned and unmanned aircraft across all of Iraq; rated as #1 of 29 peers- Led the drawdown planning for all organizational assets, technical infrastructure, and unit personnel to relocate to a new operating base within Iraq while maintaining continuous aerial intelligence support for the U.S. military’s most elite and highly-demanding Special Operations units- Presented highly specialized and classified technical capabilities briefings to visiting senior officials on 30 occasions

- Developed the course curriculum for helicopter aeronautics; led the design and integration of a rotor test stand and a comprehensive design problem that challenged students to achieve the highest level of evaluation learning- Taught engineering courses in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical engineering design; rated #3 of 23 peers across the entire department’s faculty by the Department Chairperson- Completed a two-year, interdisciplinary Master Teacher Certificate Program at West Point’s Center for Faculty Excellence- Managed the department’s flight section to include all maintenance, budget, and training in support of two flight lab airplanes

- Commanded an aerial reconnaissance company in combat consisting of 16 officers and 11 enlisted soldiers, 8 Kiowa Warrior helicopters, 3 ground vehicles, and additional support equipment valued in excess of $70M- Responsible for all aspects of the unit including combat readiness, maintenance, training, professional development, and personnel morale and welfare- Successfully deployed the unit to Iraq for 13-months and provided aerial intelligence support to conventional and Special Operations forces to achieve wartime objectives at the highest aircraft readiness rate in the squadron while operating out of a remote location with minimal life support infrastructure- Achieved Master Army Aviator rating with 2,200+ accident-free, total flight hours; 1,100+ combat flight hours
