A leading Swiss organisation for children’s aid, Terre des hommes (Tdh) has been present in India since 2008. In India, the organization provides technical support to government structures and civil society organisations to make sustainable improvements to the living conditions and development of the most vulnerable children and promote children’s rights.As a communication for development consultant, I have been working with the India chapter of the organization to develop and establish their external communication strategy and processes.Additionally given my stakeholder engagement experience, I am working with the India chapter to create visibility amongst varied stakeholders through indepth stakeholder mapping, analysis as well as designing engagement strategies.

As Senior Account Director at Adfactors PR from May 2021 to March 2023, my role encompassed strategic leadership and direction in driving impactful communication initiatives across various domains. I was responsible for orchestrating comprehensive campaigns and programs aimed at influencing public opinion, shaping policy discourse, and fostering positive societal change. This involved devising and executing communication strategies tailored to specific client needs, ranging from promoting agricultural modernization to facilitating technology adoption in underserved communities. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in cultivating and nurturing key stakeholder relationships, both within the private sector and with governmental bodies, to advance client objectives and address pressing societal challenges. Through initiatives such as instituting sustainability awards and organizing thought leadership events, I demonstrated a commitment to advancing corporate responsibility and sustainability agendas while effectively positioning clients as drivers of positive social impact. My role as Senior Account Director underscored not only my adeptness in project management and strategic planning but also my ability to drive meaningful change through purpose-driven communication initiatives.

As Client Relationship Lead at The Practice, Public Relations, my role was pivotal in driving strategic engagements and fostering partnerships to advance impactful communication initiatives in the realms of policy development, technology adoption, and socio-economic empowerment. Furthermore, I played a central role in implementing a nationwide initiative promoting balanced technology usage in educational settings, emphasizing the importance of digital literacy and responsible digital citizenship among educators and students. As an Associate Expert in the India-EU Skill Development Project at Mott McDonald, I demonstrated strong stakeholder engagement, strategic implementation, and training expertise. I collaborated with key government bodies and Sector Skill Councils to advocate and implement the National Skills Qualification Framework, training 200 vocational education trainers in the Logistics and Capital Goods sectors. My role involved assessing and addressing the training needs of organizations like the National Skills Development Agency, organizing workshops, and conducting training sessions. I successfully fostered collaboration between the Directorate General of Education and Training and Sector Skill Councils to introduce competency-based training techniques and secured a buy-in to establish a national knowledge exchange platform for vocational education trainers.

As a member of the client-facing Organizational Learning and Performance Improvement Team, I demonstrated strong research skills, collaboration, and solution development. I conducted secondary research and worked closely with subject matter experts and both internal and external clients to develop web-based learning solutions tailored to identified learning needs and objectives. As the Head of the Content Team at Chrysalis HRD Pvt. Ltd. I led a dynamic team of 10 content developers, showcasing my leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills. I successfully managed and delivered over 100 short-term learning solution projects for corporate clients across various industries, demonstrating my ability to tailor content to diverse business needs. Additionally, I spearheaded a curriculum development project for an 8-month orientation course for an Industry body client, which was implemented in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, highlighting my expertise in large-scale educational initiatives. Furthermore, I initiated the creation of an internal training team focused on building internal capacity and developing off-the-shelf modular learning programs, showcasing my commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in training and development.
