My Ph.D. work was focused on bacterial gene expression regulatory modules. During my Ph.D., I gathered experience in handling cultures of microbial biodegrader strains capable of utilising various aromatic pollutant compounds. Before joining this field, I worked on cancer signalling pathways; specifically, the ubiquitin-proteasomal degradation fates of oncoproteins and tumor supressor proteins in human systems.
