Designing an AgriTech product & service to uplift the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in rural Indonesia.Our products and services reach farmers through an integrated ecosystem of village-level entrepreneurs, and internal field operations teams. This is supported by a blend of human, physical, & digital touchpoints, including mobile and tablet apps, back-office web apps, internal systems, and dashboards.My role:1. Led teams and managed several projects from start to finish, working both autonomously and collaboratively to deliver outcomes on time.2. Planned & conducted user research to uncover behaviours, needs, and pains, of farmers, village-level entrepreneurs and internal field operations teams.3. Framed problem spaces with internal teams detailing out challenges & needs, identifying system constrains and defining Business goals and desired outcomes.4. Facilitated workshops with cross-functional teams to to integrate perspectives, develop insights, ideate on opportunities and align on priorities & roadmap.5. Visualised online & offline service experiences and touchpoint interactions to communicate design decisions and get stakeholder buy-in.6. Zoomed-in to focus on the details of human, physical and digital interactions (UX/UI of mobile and internal team web apps); whilst zooming-out to consider the overall UX & business strategy and holistic service experience.7. Designed and tested prototypes of different fidelities and typologies to verify hypotheses.8. Maintained stakeholder relationships according to their influence, interest and DARCI to gain trust and alignment.9. Assisted in execution and change management of new designs & processes and identifying potential bottlenecks and risks.10. Established quant metrics and qual feedback loops to inform design decisions and iterations or kill an idea if required.

Designed data-informed & AI-enabled Internet of Things (IoT) products & services for HealthTech, SportsTech, Smart Mobility and Retail markets in Europe.My role:1. Led few projects end-to-end which involved launching 0-1 and 1-n products across various verticals. 2. Conducted market research and tried out first-hand competitors’ products & services to assess current situation and identify opportunities.3. Conducted on-field research to collect data, synthesise findings, and create user archetypes detailing their contexts, pains, needs & motivations. 4. Mapped stakeholder systems and current user journeys to identify systemic relationships & influences; and to pinpoint customer experience pains & process improvement opportunities. 5. Defined data collection guidelines and data usage & UX strategy, including value proposition, product positioning, guiding principles, business KPIs, and product evolution roadmap. 6. Facilitated collaborative sessions to develop ideas considering business goals, UX strategy, and research insights. Plus, mapped out future state customer, front and back-office journeys, and service blueprints that involved human, physical and digital touchpoint interactions. 7. Mapped end-to-end user flow diagrams for digital products, covering all use cases and scenarios, including ‘happy-flows’, on-off boarding, error states, omni-channel experiences, and transparent data collection, usage and insights. 8. Designed information architecture & wireframes, and responsive UI designs, ensuring usability and accessibility for various digital platforms such as websites, mobile & tablet apps, web apps, internal systems, and dashboards. 9. Prototyped & tested human interactions, physical products and digital interfaces to gather quant and qual feedback for iterative design improvements. 10. Optimised design-development workflows, and provided guidance during the implementation phase to ensure the feasibility of design solutions.

Mumbai Area, India

I was involved in design of custom on-off pieces of furniture & lighting. These projects were for high-end luxury clients in various settings, from Residential Homes to Commercial Offices and from Cafe to Restro-bars. I was also involved partly in designing for spaces - interiors of homes and a forest lodge.Whether it was Furniture, Lighting or Spatial design, we always started with understanding the use cases, user needs and making site visits to get a clear idea of the context and surroundings. Benchmarking and inspiration research was done to know the latest trends in materials and finishes after which various ideas were sketched on paper. Selected concepts were 3D modeled and for a few we made mock-ups and prototypes in order to let the product evolve through a process of trial and error. I also managed projects, right from the research and conceptual phase to prototype and finally production. This involved coordinating with clients, vendors, manufacturers and other members of the team.
