As the portal’s Marketing Manager it is my role to ensure defence professionals are made aware of the portal’s content and features and promote the many benefits of joining up. This is carried out through managing the social media presence, targeted newsletters, key strategic partners, effective SEO and providing quality content for consumption.

Responsible for sourcing, creating and publishing event related content for publication on various topics within the defence and telecoms industries. I work closely with the marketing managers in order to effectively promote each event to all potential delegates and implement a successful content marketing strategy across all events and conferences.Responsible for: Office social media accounts including Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, sourcing and writing news and features for online publication for each event, interviewing speakers and industry experts for podcasts and video interviews, writing and syndicating press releases, working closely with marketing and sales to ensure effective exposure.

Worked as a Copywriter within the Marketing team of this global financial services company.Main responsibilities included:Global market update trends on a weekly basis, writing copy for brochures, websites and market bulletins for employees, editing Wealth & Living Magazine using a CMS system and sourcing and writing all news and features, writing specialist guides for customers on making their money work for them on pensions and wealth management, responsible for planning and executing a social networking plan in order to create awareness of the services the company offered.
