I'm proud to have been recognized with the Faculty of Science International Student Award and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Scholarship – acknowledgments that fuelled my drive to excel.My undergraduate experience peaked with a honours thesis on Adaptive Learning Systems under Dr. Abdallah Mohamed. This shining opportunity was a chance for to dive deeper into the complexities of computer science and emerge with real, practical solutions.Moreover, in the Okanagan-iGEM Club, I wasn't just a member – I led the charge in developing the club's website and software. And with the iGEM competition team, I put my heart and soul into creating a website that showcased our hard work and innovative project. These roles were more than just responsibilities; they were opportunities for experimentation and learning, where I could apply my technical skills in new and exciting ways.My involvement in the open-source community is where I really get to play and grow.
