Job Role: Responsible for the Corporate Relations of the company which is one of the largest manufacturers of steel with business interest in energy & infrastructure also. Developing robust strategy for augmenting & developing company’s new business. Creating a positive image of the company in the minds of Policy makers. Interacting with policy makers and various chambers/ industry associations. Representing the Managing Director at various meetings and Forums. Spearheading responsibility for managing the entire gamut of operations pertaining to governmental relations, lobby group treatment, analysis, strategy, decision making and business development.Highlights: Have built extensive pro active relationships in the Central Ministries like, Steel, Mines Coal, MOEF, Power, Shipping, MEA, MHA at level of Ministers, Secretaries and Joint Secretaries.

Job Role: Steered government relations and liaison both at Centre and States. Devised proactive strategies for furtherance of the Business of the Group. Created a positive environment amongst policy makers to induce change in legislative and regulatory issues in favor of Group’s business objectives. Handled new project initiatives and responsible for incubation of new projects. Ensured tailor made incentives for units in various states. Handled all the property matters of the group including the development proposals.Highlights: Successfully developed Extensive Relations in States of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya and Rajasthan both at Political and Bureaucratic level.  Deftly identified key individuals in these places, impacting the operations of the company leading to substantial expansion of Business and has ensured Pan India presence of the company. Adjudged an outstanding performer, was promoted as Senior Executive Director in Apr’08 & received Special Award.

Job Role: Managed external relations in challenging work environment. Devised pre-emptive strategies on issues relating to the group. Handled proposals of Mergers and Acquisitions by the Company. Built extensive relations in State of Punjab, Haryana HP & Delhi in political and bureaucratic circles leading to resolution of various pending issues and strengthening of BILT brand name in these states. Highlights: Recognized as a High Performer consecutively for three years and given two promotions and special awards.
