Working as a senior instructor in English coordinating the teaching activities of the faculties of Commerce and Management, and Science.

I served at the English Language Teaching Unit, Eastern University, Sri Lanka from the year 2001 to 2011 as an Instructor in English, Gr 11. While serving there, I was involved in Academic, Administrative and Guidance and Counselling at all levels covering the Faculties of Arts & Culture, Agriculture, Science, Commerce & Management, Health Care Sciences and the Swami Vipulananada Institute for Aesthetic Studies.In my capacity as the Coordinator of the English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) I was involved in the World Bank Sponsored Higher Education for the Twenty First Century (HETC) Project as Coordinator for the English Skills Development Programme.
