1. Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, addressing any employee concerns promptly.2. Operational Oversight: Assist in managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. Monitor workflow and adjust staffing levels to meet operational demands. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.3. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels. Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies promptly. Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements and optimize storage space.4. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to develop and execute operational strategies. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance.5. Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy of all inbound and outbound shipments. Maintain high standards of product handling to prevent damage and ensure quality. Implement and monitor quality control procedures.6. Customer Service: Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations. Address and resolve any issues related to order discrepancies or delays.7. Administrative Duties: Assist in the preparation of reports, budgets, and forecasts. Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and transactions. Support the Warehouse Manager in various administrative tasks as needed.
