As the Planning Engineer on the Port Access Elevated Highway Project, I was responsible for comprehensive project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking. My contributions included:• Preparing monthly progress reports and managing project progress monitoring sheets, in coordination with site teams.• Developing and updating visual aids to effectively communicate project status to stakeholders.• Defining the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and managing updates to the overall project programme.• Overseeing earned values and financial progress curves, ensuring accurate financial reporting and progress tracking.• Analyzing Extension of Time (EoT) claims using methodologies such as Impacted as Planned and Time Impact Analysis (TIA), and preparing detailed explanations for claim document.• Assisting in the evaluation of over 100 claims, supporting the preparation of claim documents.• Preparation of Statements for Dispute Adjudication Board (DAB) submissions, fully involved in two DAB proceedings from start to finish.• Delivering weekly progress presentations to highlight construction and design activities, resource mobilization, and KPIs.• Contributing to the development and regular updates of the project progress monitoring dashboard, ensuring real-time insights for stakeholders.• Participating in stakeholder meetings, preparing minutes of meetings, and driving follow-ups on key actions.• Preparing informative project presentations for external audiences and contributing to educational initiatives.My ability to manage complex timelines, analyze claims, and ensure project compliance has played a crucial role in the success of this major project.
