Major responsibilities:• Color matching knowledge on various product lines for all automotive manufactures.• Train the new color matchers and support the team to match the difficult colors.• Delegate and ensure the job responsibility to my team members.• Expertise on manual color matching by using Gonio chromatic/ color variable pigments.• Handling the various color projects.• Involve in the various color evaluation like Global Quality Check for internal, Toner replacement evaluation etc.• Ensure the 5S , HSE , BBS ,LSR within the team.• Monthly bilateral with the team members.• Managing, mentoring & motivating a team of color specialist offering color formulation techniques to the AkzoNobel global Business.• Certified as Colorist - A Color Specialist of Akzo Nobel who is entrusted to approve any color (Solids & Metallic) which are existing in global automotive market.• Conducting the Performance development & dialogue (PDD) to the team members.• Assuring calibration of Color light booth, weighing balance & RX20 spraying machine.• Knowledge on Manual spraying technique.• Involved in Matching the Measurement (MTM) project roll out.

Responsibilities:• Planning day-to-day strategies, production schedules along with resource allocation and machine loading for manufacturing operations.• Implementing cost saving measures to achieve substantial reduction in terms of raw materials, manpower and machine utilization.• Liaising with purchase for procuring Raw Materials and Packing Materials by running MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) every month.• Overseeing the color matching and tinting strokes, cycle time reduction through shade history details for each batch with respect to percentage tinting paste consumption.• Identification of cautions in a batch process from material handling to filling.• Adapting Process improvement at process floor to reduce the rejection at and rework.• Implementing Risk Management techniques like Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis to ensure total safety & minimize accident probability.• Implementing ISO 9001 & 14001 for the plant.• Troubleshooting in Plant Operations and batch problems.
