Job Responsibility:• Designing installing and implementing VMware ESXi server, VMware Vcenter, setting up V-Motion, HA, DRS, FT and related VMware products such as VM Workstation.• Build, configure and deploy VMs and templates. Converting Physical-to-Virtual (P2V), Virtual-to-Virtual (V2V) migration of Windows 2003, & 2008. Taking backup & restore of VMware Virtual machines.• Knowledge on VMware Resource pooling, Cloning and templates. And troubleshooting VMware problems.• Experience with VMware update manager to install patches and updates on ESXi hosts and virtual machines.• Experience with designing and implementing DPM & VMware backup & restore solutions.• Installation, Configuration, Maintaining and Supporting Windows XP/Vista/7 and Windows Server 2003/2008 & Mac, Linux operating systems. • Configuring the GPO in Server 2008.• Installing and Configuring SQL Server 2008 Fail over Clustering.• Installing and Configuring FTP Server.• Installing and Configuring SAP Front End Installer 7.10.• Installing and Configuring SAN & NAS.• Applying recommended patches to OS and applications and carrying out backups, recovery and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops and servers.• Configuring DNS and DHCP servers and administering user accounts, add/remove users and groups allocate resources to users and customize user’s environment as per development team’s requirement.• Monitoring Windows Updates, Patches through WSUS Server.• Maintains a Whole LAN and WAN Network in MPS Limited.• Taking backup by using DAT drive with specialized software using through Symantec & Netvault Backup software. • Maintaining and configuring policies in McAfee epo, Sophos Endpoint Security antivirus console. • Maintaining and Monitoring Pandora FMSV4.0.2. • Network Security management & Audit.• Maintaining firewall using Fortinet and allocate resource to the users based on their requirements.
