Technical welding and materials lead for BIDS ensuring technical acceptance of materials, estimation of welding inputs and welding metallurgy and qualification program presentation to oil companies7. Contact point of welding engineering for external groups like DNV and TWI, engagement in technical discussions8. Technical evaluation via vendor audits for line pipe suppliers to ensure suitability for mechanized welding and weldability 9. Resolving welding issues, through investigating cause of failures and implementing preventive mentions 10. Coordination of fracture analysis for ensuring welds are fit for design life and need of post weld heat treatments where there are practical issues at offshore11. Development of alternative girth weld acceptance criteria for offshore and onshore pipelines.Handled Projects for major Oil Companies :1. Saudi Aramco2. Qatar Gas3. BP4. ADNOC5.
