Graduate in Electrical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Chatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (MS). In 37 years of carrier, I have worked in various capacities right from Apprentice Engineer to Director, Board member of Company in Steel and Power sector. I have worked in the Load Management, Power purchase, Regulatory and Commercial, Energy transition management, Operation and Maintenance departments of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd for around 12 years as Superintending Engineer to Director (Commercial) level.Prior to that, I have worked around 7 years in projects department of Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co Ltd as a Deputy Executive Engineer. Also I have worked in Electrical projects and Maintenance department of steel Plants in India and abroad for around 16 years.I was associated with Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana, a flagship programme of Government of Maharashtra for giving day time supply to farmers, right from its concept in June 2017 to the redrafting as a MSKVY 2.0 in 2023 and now this scheme is going to be turn in to the largest distributed solarisation programme for agriculture feeders in India. Also I have played a vital roll in implementation of KVAH billing to HT Consumers, rationalisation of Open Access, changeover of deviation settlement mechanism from FBSM to DSM etc in the State. Presently working as a Director( Operation) of second largest transmission utility in India ie MSETCL.
