 Monitor all Network/Servers, Applications and environmental alerts through monitoring tools. Perform initial level of diagnose for all alerts as well for clients First Line of Defence- response to all calls & e-mails from clients. Informing respective teams to take quick actions for the alerts received. Creating P1/P2 incidents for critical issues and opening bridge call with required support teams to troubleshoot the issue & sending regular updates to higher management until the issue gets resolved. Opening tickets with the ISP’s for network related issues to resolve at the remote site. Follow the case with Vendors from beginning till resolution, make sure the clients are fully satisfied with the turnaround provided. Enabling & disabling nodes in F5 load balancer. iOS upgradation on Catalyst, Cisco, Nexus switches & routers. Working experience on monitoring tools ( CA Spectrum, Nimsoft, BigPanda, Solarwinds, BMC Truesight, Moogsoft, AppDynamics and ticketing tools like ServiceNow and BMC Remedy). Running script for the servers not reachable to check the uptime. Exposure to V-Centre (viz. power ON and OFF virtual machines) during planned power outages of physical & virtual servers. Logging into the switches for fetching the configuration details of the switches using the tool putty. L1 troubleshooting related to switches, database, VMware & UNIX servers. Resolving incidents of L1 scope such as: - Interface Down/ Discard of Packets/ High CPU Utilization/ High Memory Utilization/ Switch Reboot, etc. Putting Servers/Network devices in maintenance mode during the planned Change Activity.
