The general research interests of our lab are in the area of T-cell responses and their regulation in context of cancer and viral infections (hepatitis C, influenza and human immunodeficiency viruses). Currently I am involved in the investigation of the role of cellular immune responses and their regulation in the chronic HCV infection using small animal (mouse) model. The ultimate goal is to identify specific cellular immune responses that are required in protecting or clearing HCV infection and understand their mechanism.
