In Gerdau India, We have a great news to share with you on “Safety”. The confederation of Indian Industry (CII), hosted a National Level safety Practice Competition in 2018. The objective of this event is to share success stories on best practices and methodologies for excellence in workplace safety. The competition is designed at two levels. It consists of Submission of an abstract of the practice implemented (Level#1) followed by presentation on the short-listed entries (Level#2).Almost, more than 100 companies were put their abstract for this competition at the level #1 stage. Out of it, 21 abstract were shortlisted and called for level #2 competition. We are one among the 21 companies short listed by CII.Finally, we made our Best Practice presentation on “ STAR TEAM FOR THE PLANT-A Recognition Program” on 26th April’18. Our Practice/presentation is well received by the Jury’s and the audience. And, Gerdau-India received the 2018-Title Winner on “Excellence in Workplace safety” in the High Risk Category Manufacturing Industries.
