He had joined the company three months before to be in charge of the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and the Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) of the laboratory, due to the experienced acquired during his MEng in Deggendorf (Germany). Satishkumar is a very open minded person, easy going and very kind, virtues that make him to be a great team player, capable of working in any international environment and developing a high quality work, especially the tasks that require patience and attention to detail. He has done a remarkable work with the two equipment that were initially under his supervision, going one step further in the technique with respect to the jobs that had been previously done in this laboratory. He is able to propose new approaches in creative manners to solve the problems he comes across .Many of the works he performed in the laboratory are now part of scientific papers in international publications in the field of surface and materials science. He has also shown a great interest to learn new techniques that he was not familiar with, particularly the X-ray diffraction (XRD) and the Glow Discharge Spectroscopy (GDOES), but also techniques involving the mechanical properties of materials (Nanoindentation, Rockwell C , Hardness Tester and the Scratch Tester), together with the regular light microscope and the interferometer; becoming rapidly autonomous in all of them and being capable of performing any test with these machines, always offering trustable results.
