It involved design and development of an Intranet Government Portal for G2G (Government to Government) & G2E (Government to Employee), E-government services with an employee-centric approach that allow e-government programs to be accessible from a single government portal, enabling employees to create a personalized view of the ministry/department and receive electronic notifications/alerts for various events, meetings, conventions, etc. based on their needs and experiences through SMS (Short Messaging Service).The portal includes Plone Instant Message, Calendar etc. for which SMS alerts are send as scheduled, moreover user can query the same through SMS while offline.
