Olá! I am a Brazilian-born Japanese, based in Singapore for the past 15 years. With persistence and luck, investments in Brazil paid off to fund MBA studies in the US, where I also worked for a couple of years before moving to Asia. I am into Ag commodity trading analytics. I bring to the team top expertise in Ag fundamental analysis and long-standing commodity market operations "in the trenches" to offer a unique lens through which to interpret data and identify trading opportunities. In Ag markets, data has becoming commoditized by the day. Possessing a superior approach to process and synthesize data, including AI tools, to identify market inefficiencies will be key for superior trading performance. I would like to take an active role in that.I am at my best as a change agent: strategically identifying ways to improve the organization by asking myself and the team why things are done in one way, whether there is a better way to solve a problem. I am comfortable gaining support for the solution and enduring through the inevitable execution roadblocks to get to the results.Due to track record delivering results under pressure, I have often been appointed for company-wide critical projects such as: - forecasting the long term vegetable oil and protein demand to validate capex of the first crushing plant in Vietnam, - map the domestic US grain flows by county to help anti-trust regulators vet and approve a multi-billion dollar acquisition of Cereol,- implementing from scratch the detailed global supply and demand balances for corn and wheat,- project managed the scheduling of the first Brazilian optical network in major cities. Project completed on time and successfully sold to ATT.Those close to me would describe me as strategic, analytical and creative when evaluating market drivers with the team. When it comes to implementing the solutions, I might be tagged as having a sense of urgency, detail-oriented and resourceful.
