I co-lead a group that is responsible for developing the biotherapeutic portfolio for Pfizer. Main deliverables include stabilization and process development of vaccines, antibodies, and gene therapy treatments that enable clinical trials and eventual licensure. I manage development activities occurring at various sites in the U.S. as well as manufacturing and regulatory activities globally, including EU and Japan. I have consistently built and led a high performing team and enjoy taking on new challenges. Outside of work, I serve as the Chair of the Board for Caltech Alumni Association, the role in which I interact very closely with Caltech administration, current students, and alumni to increase engagement. I enjoy combining my scientific knowledge, business education and training, and diverse cultural background to enable a multi-national organization grow and leave a lasting impact. I thrive in an environment experiencing growth and requiring change management, filled with diverse talent and exciting business challenges. Prior to joining Pfizer, I held positions of increasing responsibility at Nektar Therapeutics and Aridis Pharmaceuticals. I'm fortunate to have had the opportunity to work at companies of varying stages of maturity and size, which shaped my leadership style and taught me the importance of talent management to deliver results. I received my B.S. from Caltech and Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin Madison, both in Chemical Engineering, and my MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern.
