I act as the principle brand owner and proactively implement design solutions across the company. Leading on the development of BTL branding and brand guidelines, I work closely with the Marketing Managers and our external brand agency. I oversee the professional development of the Multimedia Designer, monitoring progress and acheivements. I have also successfully sourced new, reliable suppliers to work with.

I was promoted to the role of Multimedia Designer in which I pushed brand guidelines to develop new creative solutions. The designs are visually appealing and more effective in engaging consumers. I collaborated with the digital team to create online content, from conception through to final deliverable, saving on agency expenditure. I used photography and video to capture our events and compiled these for wider use.

In this role I collaborated, sometimes solely, with our creative brand agency in a complete re-brand of Smart Energy GB’s brand identity. I creatively implemented the new identity across all company assets; infographics, corporate assets, templates for new reports, publishing/print material, merchandising, PowerPoint and Word documents, event stands and also photographed at key events. I trained team members in PowerPoint and Photoshop and built templates for a streamlined and efficient work flow. Consistently working above and beyond my role helped to achieve great results.

As well as working full time in my spare time I consistently carry out freelancing work develop creative thinking and practice new skills. I interpret briefs and thought communicating ideas with clients I design logos and identities, icons, reports, websites and workbooks. I have developed branding strategies, and freelanced as a photographer and video editor.

Wembley

In this role I designed content for sports programme guides and sports magazines and often designed the entire publications too. Using my advanced Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator skills I created eye-catching visual content. I also developed icons and liaised with printers, whilst working on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.

As primary photographer and editor I photographed bespoke pieces of jewelry taking into careful consideration the most flattering lighting and angles, before editing each image. The photographs were to be showcased on the e-commerce website, but the catalogue images were also used on social media. They weren’t suitable for this platform developed concepts and created photographs that worked well in engaging consumers.

To brush up on my digital design skills I worked with Wall-London, a sophisticated fashion brand, on newsletters, homepages and banners for online use. I was also involved in the creation of mood boards and concept development for the fashion photo-shoot for the next season.

At Hasbro my role involved creating 3D catalogue images from the artwork of the packaging of Hasbro’s games. I also kept a log of all asset requests and developed a system to catch up with backlog of requests. I was also involved with artworking on game instructions and packaging.

At Octopus Publishing I created designs for spreads and BLADs and presentations. In this role I was involved in working with illustrators and also created illustrations for The Telegraph and Daily Mail.
