• To drive and manage the Master Production Schedule for the tactical horizon (3 to 24 months)

• Production Management with people responsibility of 20 associates.
• Oversees the daily operation within the Manufacturing Unit.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), statutory, regulatory, and Novartis requirements.
• Resource management (people, equipment, facilities, etc.)
• Supports LEAN production and continuous improvement initiatives.Achievements:

• Key responsibilities:
• Responsible to provide a feasible operational plan (6 weeks) to the shop floor, which is aligned to materials and capacity availability
• To establish optimized sequence of orders within the Planning Time Fence and keep it up to date, based on rules agreed by Manufacturing, Quality and other support functions and in accordance with Customer requirements.
• To ensure optimal alignment of operations to minimize unplanned queues and work in progress. Achievements:
• Contributed towards meeting critical site KPI’s of Schedule adherence and OTIF
• Gained rich experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with colleagues belonging to diverse backgrounds and ethnicity.

• Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for making demand plan with 18 months horizon, with 3 months firm and 15 months rolling at max horizon.
• Responsible for maintaining Inventory health, by meeting targets for Weeks of Coverage, Inventory Turns and Excess Inventory.
• Development of statistical forecasting tool based on multi linear regression for forecasting the monthly replenishment quantities for individual countries in the region.Achievements:
• Improved launch adherence from a level of 25% error to below 5%, by successfully developing and implementing launch management tool.
• Improved inventory health in Distribution Centre by bringing down the excess inventory from a level of 35% to the targeted level of 15%.
