Hyderabad Metro Rail Project is implemented by L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited, an SPV incorporated by L&T Group. It is the largest PPP contract in Metro Sector in the world. Project Scope includes construction of 72 km of elevated metro rail with 66 stations with 3 depots. • Reviewing DBR, Design Concepts & Technical Specifications.• Monitoring the execution, Testing & Commissioning of MEP works for Depot and station buildings as per the approved drawings and technical specification.• Reviewing of Shop Drawings & Method Statements.• Adherence to Cost and time schedules with an eye on cost optimization and savings on budgeted cost and expediting work ahead of schedules.• Reviewing of Detailed Design Drawings, Calculations and Specifications.• Carrying out techno-economic Studies for optimizing the design to control the project cost within the estimated cost.• Reviewing & witnessing the FAT/SAT and accepting the materials for installation.• Verification and certification of Invoices submitted by contractor in line with payment terms agreed as per Conditions of Contracts.• Review the construction Progress Report to ensure all works are being executed in compliance to approved drawings & method statements and time schedules.• Estimation of Manpower Requirement for the Project based on standard productivity norms.• Monitoring of actual resources availability.• Verification of Testing and commissioning of Fire Protection System, Fire Detection, Ventilation Fans, Outdoor & Indoor AC Units, Water distribution network in the station and the drainage system• Co-ordination with other rail systems for Integrated Testing & Commissioning of Electrical & Mechanical System.• Ensure proper interface of various rail system design with MEP design.• Facilitating for any statutory approval such as Fire safety Approval, CMRS Approval for Stations.
