Current• Expertise in Teradata, SAS, Data stage with experience ranging from analysis, design & development to support Business Intelligence, OLAP and ETL/ELT data feeds to EDWH systems. • Lead efforts to implement Data Warehousing and Data Migration/Integration; includes System analysis, Technical Design, development and deployment end-to-end solution in Enterprise Data Warehousing space.• Experience in Data Modeling Logical/Physical, Dimensional and Star/Snowflake schema designing for both OLTP/OLAP and DSS systems. Re-factor existing data models & databases for performance and scalability using ERwin, E/R Studio.• Extensive experience on all the Teradata models like FSLDM, CLDM, MLDM etc.• Expertise in Data migration/conversion of legacy system data from various sources (flat files, XML, heterogeneous databases) to Data warehouse using ETL tools, Unix scripts. • Experience developing and designing technical documentation, source to target data mapping specs includes business transformation logic, join condition etc. comply with define standards and best practices to produce database catalog / data dictionary for organization. • Extensive experience in Reverse Engineering legacy databases to acquire detailed understanding of existing data structures for both enterprise data model and data warehouse model development using ERwin, E/R Studio• Responsible for ongoing BI projects and day to day activities pertaining to Data warehouse and Reporting across multiple stakeholders includes liaison with SME/Business users, recruited new team members, trained, coached as mentor. Built teams offshore-onsite from scratch.• Expert in heavy data analysis and resolution for Infrastructure data issues, data incompatibility, Root-Cause Analysis, identifying trends, usage patterns and forecasting systems behavior. • Experience in using Version Control, Quality control, remedy and DB change management.
