Led the development of the Reports module for the Finance project, focusing on the creation and optimization of RESTful APIs to generate and download report data in PDF and Excel formats.3. Analyzed Business Requirements Documents (BRD) to understand client specifications, actively collaborating with Business Analysts to clarify ambiguities.4. Utilized Java 17 and Spring Boot to design and implement robust REST APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability.5. Acquired comprehensive knowledge of database structures within the Finance application, compiling a detailed Data Dictionary to document table and field information.6. Developed complex custom queries to extract and process report data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.7. Integrated external URLs and EIS APIs to retrieve transactional and other critical data from the bank’s Core Banking systems.8. Employed Spring Global Exception Handling mechanisms to manage errors gracefully, including the creation of custom exceptions where necessary.9. Ensured API responses included appropriate HTTP status codes, messages, data payloads, and headers.10. Conducted extensive testing of REST APIs using Postman, validating functionality with various request parameters.11. Managed version control and continuous integration processes using GitLab and Jenkins, coordinating with the DevOps team to deploy builds across development, SIT, UAT, and pre-production environments.12. Addressed security vulnerabilities and other defects identified during ISD testing, enhancing the overall security posture of the application.13.
