- As the inaugural Georgia Director, I led NAPAWF’s strategy in Georgia on issues that impact Asian American Pacific Islander women and girls, building bridges between the AAPI community and the progressive movement in Georgia. - Developed a cohort of AAPI leaders to implement a 12 – month leadership development curriculum. Conducted community – based needs assessment of reproductive justice experiences of AAPI women living in the South. - Developed programming on voter education and engagement, organized actions in city councils, school boards to engage the AAPI communities in Georgia. - Collaborated with reproductive justice organizations to develop Georgia specific advocacy strategy.

- Offered nutrition program (community garden, food pantry, food coop), afterschool education and recreation program, senior citizen services, computer lab so that newly arrived refugees in the Clarkston area had a place to gather, learn and connect. - Negotiated contracts with renters, lease negotiation with DeKalb County Schools, and Clarkston City Government. Streamlined services, tracked outcomes, and ensured compliance with funder requirements.

- Disbursed micro business loans, organized peer learning events, collected monthly loans and reported loan repayment data to credit reporting agencies.- Highlighted refugee and immigrant women entrepreneurs and their businesses supported by the Microenterprise Development Program. - Organized a 3-day, national conference. Refugee and immigrant women leaders from across the US participated in sharing their experiences, learning new strategies, and networking with peers and subject matter experts. - Developed regular avenues for funders, community partners and volunteers to stay informed about the work. Incorporated print, electronic and social media marketing tools.

- Created program policies and procedures for this newly created program to support victims of domestic violence and to hold perpetrators accountable. - Provided mini grants to domestic violence programs across Georgia to hire Victim Liaisons. - Coordinated multi-lateral collaborative projects with courts, advocates, domestic violence task forces to develop community driven batterer accountability, and compliance to State Statutes. - Developed a 6-hour curriculum in coordination with Georgia Commission on Family Violence on dynamics of domestic violence and ways to hold batterers accountable. - Trained, monitored, and provided technical assistance to advocates and Family Violence Intervention Programs (FVIPs) facilitators in developing skills on holding batterers accountable, avoiding collusion, and coordinating with advocates for victim safety. Trained approximately 150 facilitators in 10 trainings across Georgia.

Conducted survey for CARE USA of international initiatives on gender-based violence in Sudan, Bangladesh, and South Africa. Analyzed the benefits and challenges of having a stand-alone gender-based violence program or incorporating an understanding of gender-based violence into multiple program activities such as education, economic development and more.

Provide support and services to immigrant and refugee survivors of domestic violence, sometimes as easy as showing them how to use Metro. Guided and led the process of manual development. Determined appropriate topics, reading materials, exercises. Organized each module into objectives, learning goals, exercises, and discussion questions. Provided the layout and design of the manual.

Interviewed entrepreneurs and assessed the effectiveness of providing micro grants to the poorest of poor. Monitored and interviewed local nonprofit partner agencies of Trickle Up. Researched and interviewed potential new community partners and their constituents for Trickle Up market expansion. Provided comprehensive evaluation and recommendations to Trickle Up.
