As a Data Science Intern I have worked on :1.Finance product development-Aim to predict the effect of News,Tweets,Forums and recommendations on the stock market.2.Web Analytics : Web Scraping,Sentimental Analysis,Text Mining.3.Predictive Modelling :- Implemented different machine learning algorithms (Naive Bayes,Support Vector Machine, Gradient Boosted Method) to improve the accuracy of the predictive model.4.Information Scoring-Causality of articles and recommendations on the Stock Market.5.Documentation of New and Old Machine Learning Methodologies.

-Head of sponsorship team which is responsible for main funding of the fest by contacting various companies.Also managed the financial aspects of the fest which included managing accounts, expenditures and other transactions involved in the fest.-Responsible for conducting workshops and talks for publicizing the fest all across the country and attracting participants.Organised workshops in different colleges like KIIT , ITER Bhubhaneshwar, in Bangalore etc.-Also looked after Logistics,and various Partnership deals.

- INDUSTRIAL RETAILING :Creating a new Market for the company where the sales was below par across 50 cities for certain products.-Business plan & Sales strategy development: Data collection,Selecting Target cities,Figuring out the feature problems of each target city(Lack of Distributors,Competitive market,Better product available,Competitive pricesor Offers).-Contacted responsible sales teams of all the 50 cities to evaluate the situation and come up with suitable targets for all the locations integrating the sales data and sales team feedback regarding the problems being faced..-Launched a scheme to increase the efficiency of the sales of the respective cities and provided solutions to a certain extent for the major problems.
