Satyanarayan Mohanty is a Post Graduate in Social Work, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar and completed a Post Graduate Diploma Program on Public Health Nutrition in PHFI. He has more than 18 years of experience in the social sector surveys, research and implementation of development programs. He is well versed with Participatory research techniques e.g. Peer Study, PLA and PRA. Prior to his engagement with DCOR Consulting Pvt. Ltd., he worked with some reputed agencies viz. Xavier Institute of Management (XIM), Bhubaneswar; CARE India, Lucknow; Verve Consulting, Bhubaneswar and CTRAN Consulting, Bhubaneswar. During his stint with these agencies, he worked in various projects supported by national and international agencies viz. The World Bank, EU, DfID, USAID, CORDAID, BROEDRLIJK DELEN, ILO, DIAKONIA, UNDP, etc. His thematic areas of experience include Reproductive & Child Health, Nutrition and HIV/AIDS; Public health; Micro-finance; Livelihood Promotion; Local Governance; Resettlement & Rehabilitation; Women Empowerment; Disaster Management; etc. and his skills and expertise are mainly in Conducting Development Research and Surveys; project planning and management; monitoring and evaluation; Capacity Building; Developing Business Plans; Result Based Management (RBM); Designing & Rolling out Project Management Information System; etc.
