The primary responsibility involve :UNIT CONTROL SYSTEM design for GAS TURBINE and STEAM TURBINE and ELECTRIC MOTOR driven applications(GENERATOR,MECHANICAL COMPRESSOR).The Control System Design activity involve below activities.Selection of Bill of Material of all main control systems and network items( For example MARKVIe,BN-3500,ORBIT 60,WOODWARD GOVERNER & OVERSPEED SYSYEM,SIEMENS PLC,NETWORK SWITCHES,HMIs...etc)Preparation of Basic Engineering drawings like CONTROL SYSTEM LAYOUT,CONTROL SYSTEM NETWORK ARCHITECTURE,CONTROL SYSTEM POWER SUPPLY ARCHITECTURE.Preparation of Detail Engineering document (IO LIST,FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION, CAUSE&EFFECT, FUNCTIONAL LOGIC DIAGRAM,TEST PROCEDURE,BN3500 & ORBIT60 CONFIGURATION WORKSHEET..etc)Review of control system manufacturing drawing (CONTROL.SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION drawing CONTROL SYSTEM WIRING DRAWING).Design Review Meeting with Customer.Participation in HAZOP and SIL Review meeting with Customer.CUSTOMER FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TEST (FAT) of UNIT CONTROL SYSTEM

Leading the team of 10 Engineers in CONTROL & INSTRUMENTATION department and responsible for complete Control & Instrumentation activities (Engineering, Erection &Commissioning) of 4*350 MW unit.  Finalization of the technical specifications of major equipments like :DCS, UPS, various BOP PLCs ,Instrumentation Cable, Enclosure, Cabinets, Control Panels and Desks etc. Review and Finalizations of P&IDs of all the systems of 4*350 MW unit. Looking after the C&I field execution in following areas:1. DCS (MAX DNA) and PLC (ALLENBRADELY) Erection & Commissioning2. Boiler & Auxiliaries - Instrument Protection cabinet erection, BMS system Readiness (SADC, Oil Gun, Ignitor & its local control cabinet, Flame Scanner, Burner Tilt Actuator), Instrument Erection & Impulse Piping, Air & Flue Gas & Draft system Readiness (FD,ID,PA,APH).4. Turbine & Auxiliaries - TSI (Turbine Supervisory Instrument) system Readiness, ETS (Turbine Emergency Stop) system Readiness, DEH (Digital Electro Hydraulic Governing system) system readiness, Lube Oil System Readiness, Condensate System Readiness ( Hotwell, CEP & LP heaters), Feedwater System Readiness (Deaerator, BFP,HP heater), Vacuum System Readiness (Vacuum Pump), OCCW and CCCW system Readiness.5. BFPT (Boiler Feedpump Turbine) - MTSI (Turbine Supervisory Instrument) system Readiness, METS (Turbine Emergency Stop) system Readiness, MEH (Digital Electro Hydraulic Governing) system readiness.6.  Worked in fleet support engineering looking after all hardware/software/firmware/configuration related issues of different GE designed gas turbine/steam turbine/Balance of plant (BOP) control systems like MarkV, MarkVI, MarkVIe and MarkVe. The job profile includes providing commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting support to GE designed gas turbine/steam turbine control systems like to MarkV, MarkVI, MarkVIe and MarkVe control systems  Needed to travel to different sites across the globe (Europe, Middle East, Africa, US etc) for Installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning of all the above control systems. Finding of different bugs in the control product softwares like toolbox (m6b files), ControlST (ToolboxST) and reported back to NPI team (New Product Introduction) for corrective action. Setting up of in-house MarkV, MarkVI, MarkVIe and MarkVe control panel for simulation of different field issues. Looked after all the reliability and quality aspect of these control systems. Preparing troubleshooting guides/Manuals/FAQs to help GE Field Engineers in commissioning and troubleshooting. Took ownership of products like MarkVI, MarkVe and MarkVIe control systems and building of support central websites for helping different sites answering their queries on GE Control systems. Detail analysis and description of the existing Diagnostics alarms, which requires detail, study of the internal electronics of the control system. Involvement in the testing and development newly developed Gas turbine/Steam Turbine control systems.

This was a 515MW Combined Cycle Power Plant comprises of three no. of GE Frame 9E Dual Fuel Gas Turbine with GE SPEEDTRONIC MarkV TMR control system, 3 no.s of HRSGs (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) and one GE Steam Turbine .Job Responsibilities: Looked after day-to-day operation of entire Power Plant at 100% MCR. Operations such as Gas turbine startup, shut down, fuel changeovers, Compressor water wash and emergency handling. Operations such as HRSG startup, shutdown, hydro test, boiler preservation. 220 KV Bus changeovers, Handling station trip, black outs. Critical electrical MCC’S Changeovers (6.6kv stn swgr, 6.6 kV stg swgr, 415v pcc’s, 415v mcc’s). Looking for healthiness of major equipments and its auxiliaries. Monitoring the water quality of the D.M & Soft water. Looking after maintenance of Speedtronic MarkV control system. modification of logics, sequencing as per the process requirement. Replacement of different cards in MARKV control systems (TCDA, TCEA, SDCC, SLCC, and TCQA etc). Servo Calibration. EPROM upgrade in MarkV panel.
