Working with Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd (CGCEL) as Manager-Finance and reporting to DGM-Finance. Audit, MIS and Closing of books of Accounts: Trail review, General Ledger scrutiny, P&L and Balance Sheet Finalization. Leading month end closing activities correct provisioning for Expenses. Ensuring the completion of statutory audit/Tax Audit and Internal Audit as per timeline defined by corporate office. Resolving audit query and ensuring timely closure of all open audit points. Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies, procedures, and internal controls.  Ensure proper supporting documentation for bank and cash payment authorizations. Preparation of monthly MIS for Debtors ageing, Costing, Warehouse operations, Budget Vs Actual and compliance for finance review.  Review and regular interaction with team to work on improvement areas.  Budgeting:  Lead the Function to efficiently prepare an annual plan, forecast and budget which are commercially sound.  Tracking actuals vs budgets and outlook, reasons for variances and initiating of corrective actions.  Prepare budgets (yearly), cash flow statements and forecasts by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data and recommending plans.  Taxation: Calculation of Tax payables and filling of GST return (GSTR2B and GSTR-1) Ensure adherence to established and correct accounting principles and policies.. Manage all tax assessments, Liaison with law firms, tax consultancy firms, accounting and audit firms

 Credit Control, limit allocation, Deviation and Debtors Management. Forex Management including Hedging, Buyers Credit and Import payment. Responsible for LC & BG documentation and presentation. Ensuring weekly Bank Reconciliation with the help of sub-ordinates. Preparation of Fund Planning/Cash Management on Monthly/Weekly basis. Liasoning with bank for payment, Fixed Deposits, advices and statement. Handling Accounts Payable for Local and overseas suppliers. Liaison with with HR for monthly preparation of salaries and ensuring timely deposit of Employee benefit contributions. Reconciliation and Variance Analysis - actuals v/s budget. Preparation of Re-instatement/Translation for Monthly Closing and Reporting. Month end closing activities related to Provision, Accruals & Adv Adjustment. Dealing with internal and statutory auditors for quarter/year end audits.

 Handling purchase accounting/accounts payable related to suppliers. Reconciliation of Bank & vendor accounts on quarterly basis. Payment of Service Tax and TDS as per timelines. Filling of TDS, Service Tax as per Govt. Norms. Liaisioning with Banks for payment, advices and opening of Short-term Deposits. Support to management for budget and product wise profitability analysis. Month end closing activities related to Provision, GL Accounting etc. Preparation of monthly & quarterly MIS/Reports of financial statements.

 Handling purchase accounting/accounts payable related to suppliers. Voucher punching/processing & deduction of TDS. Reconciliation of Bank & vendor accounts. Preparation of MIS, variance analysis related to S&D expenses. Co-ordination with auditors for quarter/year end audits.
