After a death occurs, I help resolve contested Will or Trust issues (litigation), counsel on Medical Assistance claims, and guide families through the probate process.I love facing the challenges that arise while representing clients. I work to ensure that the disabled beneficiary remains eligible for benefits.As a licensed mortician I am knowledgeable about mortuary/funeral service law and available for consult.I am a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), American Bar Association (ABA) Senior Lawyers Division, and ABA Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Group. I am serving my second term as a Commissioner with the ABA Commission on Law and Aging.I do regular presentations on long-term care planning, estate planning, and preplanning for death.
