HRH Prince Saud as of May 2022 serves as the governor of Al Ahsa province and Chairman of several non-profit organizations. On June 2021 he served as the Deputy Minister For Customer Experience & Beneficiary Services by a ministerial decree at the Ministry of municipal & Rural Affairs & Housing. He also holds the position as the Senior Advisor to minister and the General Supervisor for Institutional Partnership & International Cooperation. Prior to that, he was appointed by ministerial decree as Senior Advisor to the Minister of Housing in 2016. He also served as the Deputy Minster of Residential Support and beneficiary services and Branches Agency, where he oversaw the vast operations of the Ministry’s land development initiative, a major pillar of the Housing Vision Program, one of the largest and significant Vision 2030 Programs. In addition to his Role as Senior Advisor and General Supervisor, Prince Saud headed the Ministry’s Department of International Cooperation, and he is an active Board Member of the General Real Estate Authority as well as numerous other Government based committees. Prior to Joining the Ministry of Housing, he enjoyed a 15-year career where he held several leadership positions. Prince Saud holds a Master's degree in law & International Relations with honors from Kent University in the UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Information Systems from Suffolk University in Boston, US. In addition, Prince Saud lead/participated in Official Saudi Delegations to the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Conference delegation in its fifteenth session and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for 4 years starting in 2009 and many other international delegations.
