Saud Karmustaji is a mission strategist for the Emirates Mars Mission (HOPE). His team’s duty is to ensure that the impact of the UAE’s journey to planet Mars will be sustainable, and have a local, regional, and global influence as the UAE is moving towards a knowledge based economy. At the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, Saud is a member of the Policies and Studies Office, as the science and technology consultant for the Space Centre, in addition to other organizations and government entities. Saud is the Education Lead on the NanoSatellite Outreach Program (NSOP), in which he ensures to provide the university students and professors involved with the required trainings, as well as facilitating the flow of work until the launch of the satellite to space.Saud is an advocate speaker and passionate about science, in both the real and virtual world. In most social and government events, he conducts workshops and gives informative and inspirational talks about STEM disciplines. Moreover, he is known for creating YouTube shows. Saud is the founder of “TedroonX” and the co-founder of “AlMisbar TV”. These YouTube channels aim to deliver science and technology concepts to the public while keeping it entertaining.Saud earned his degree in Aeronautical Science from the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in the USA, Florida. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 2012 and attained his Master’s degree in 2014.
