Haq Se India - Docu FeatureCurrently in the acquisition stageThe story centres around India's victory in the first-ever T20 World Cup in 2007 and the birth of the IPL. MS Dhoni was destined to be a fantastic captain from the start. The producer's toughest challenge was to tell a story without Dhoni because his dates were unavailable. In the film, I used MSD as a MacGuffin, where everyone talks about him but we never see him speak. In the movie, his absence went unnoticed. Another problem was to get the athletes to open up and tell us insider stories that no one else knows about. With my supervision and direction, I was able to obtain such insights that people would love to hear about straight from the horse's mouth.Finally, we shot with many players who were not in India, but thanks to technology, I was able to direct them via Zoom Calls, while my team in London, Dubai, and Nottingham accepted virtual instructions. Because of my advertising background, I was able to pull it off, with pre-production and planning playing a key role. When the market was flooded with unsold films starring better cast, the producers sold the film. The audience praised the film since it was the first-ever TIMELOOP Hindi feature film and was extremely captivating, despite having only seven characters and one location.
