Or if you just want to offer a series of videos to train a group of employees or to describe to your customers in a clear and direct manner how your new product works.SEA stands for Saul Escobedo Animation.The idea emerged while the Founder and Director of this studio was watching the waves at the Santa Monica beach, asking himself what new route his ship should follow.We want our stories to sail away and disembark triumphant as far as possible across the big blue.

Metrorrey is the urban transport system that operates in the Mexican city of Monterrey and serves about 500,000 daily trips.Under the supervision of the Communications Manager, my role as Communications Coordinator was to provide designs for social media and to document events. I created graphic and video content for Social Media, Press and TV to show different aspects of Monterrey Metro System's programs and activities. Semilla Creativa is Coop conformed by a group of art professionals and cultural promotors that opened a Cultural Café in Downtown Monterrey, in which we built a mini-stage to host music shows, monologues, poetry recitals, book presentations and art film screenings.We were able to gather a large number of frequent costumers in each of our music nights, converting our small Café in an important reference in the Monterrey's art and show bussinnes scene.

Hazaña is a fiction movie based on the amazing adventures of a Mexican cyclist who traversed the entire Australian perimeter, almost 10,000 miles on her bike.Bertha Corte is the first woman to achieve this deed in the world, solo and without any formal financing. She meticulously documeted in her diary everything that she experienced on the road.We launched a fund raiser to start the pre-production of this motion picture based on Bertha Corte's diary for which I produced a documentary of a tour Bertha completed throughout 9 states across Mexico in the Spring of 2013.We followed Bertha riding her bike on Mexican interstate highways throughout the tour. We created a presentation and music show to share her story at every town and city we visited, summoning media, company reps as well as government officials.Hazaña is on a Pre-production stage.Hazaña es una película sobre la espectacular aventura de una mexicana superando un gran desafío en tierras lejanas.Bertha Corte es la primera mujer en haber dado la vuelta a Australia en solitario y sin financiamiento oficial.La narración de este recorrido ha sido documentada por la misma Corte, quien llevaba una bitácora y un diario detallado de las peripecias que tenían lugar a lo largo de su camino. El guión de Hazaña estará basado en estos textos.Hazaña será una película de ficción basada en hechos reales. No será un documental. As an online retailer for the Mexican market, Aviesta.com reached more than 500,000 subscribers at its Facebook Page. I edited video and produced Motion Graphics clips to build a strong and compelling online marketing platform. I directed various projects for this production studio:- Two 5 episode animated series for Nuevo Leon State Women's Institute on violence against women.- A 10 episode animated series for the State Police Department.- A historical documentary for the Engineering Academy at University of Nuevo Leon.- Documentary about the Chapa family, owner of 7 Eleven in Mexico.

La Quincena is a monthly magazine about politics and society and 15diario.com is its daily online version.I designed about 40 magazine covers and teamed up with a group of Creative Consultants to set the standards for this project.

Alimentos Matre was leader in the candy market in Mexico and Lucas products, its flagship Brand, are still distributed worlwide in more than 50 countries. Lucas is also the name of the cartoon character used for branding porpuses. Part of my job was to adapt the Lucas character to different labels, packaging and marketing applications. I worked with several brands owned by the company as well as on the development of new products.Alimentos Matre was aquired by Mars Mexico in 2001.

Marquez Brothers is a major player in the Hispanic Market in the USA importing and manufacturing Mexican style products under the El Mexicano brand.One of my first assigments was the redisign of the logo and standarization of several product lines. I designed labels for more than 100 products, most of which are still being used and can be seen on supermarket shelves.The cookie line of products was a challenge. We renamed some existing products that were manufactured for Marquez Brothers by a Mexican factory. The goal was to build an original product identity adapted to the Hispanic market in the USA. A colorful and traditional Mexican style with cartoony illustrations was chosen to dress the product line boxes, which included digital photos of the cookies I produced using a Leaf Lumina 3d scanner, a technological breaktrough at that time.

Soriana is Walmart's strongest competitor in Mexico. Following the lead of the Creative Director at the Corporate Headquarters, my main task was to create the identity graphic design for seasonal campaigns using original photos and illustrations and submit to the layout and typesetting department.Soriana was a regional supermarket chain. A corporate goal of going national was set and the target was to compete against national stores like Comercial Mexicana. Pa'quete Ahorres was a seasonal sales campaign that we launched to compete with supermarket chain Comercial Mexicana's Julio Regalado annual sale. I mixed illustration with photos of the Pepe Paquetes character to build the main image of the Pa'quete Ahorres campaign. About 250,000 flyers were distributed every week, intensive TV ads were aired and press spreads in every newspaper were published with the Pa'quete Ahorres images.Soriana bought Comercial Mexicana and became a national superstore chain.

El Norte is the main newspaper in Monterrey, Mexico. At the time it reached more than 180,000 readers. I started as a freehand drafter, scanning my ink drawings and soon transitioned to working with Adobe Illustrator v 3.2 for vector-based artwork and Adobe Photoshop v. 2.5 (no layers capability) to apply effects.I was part of a team of six illustrators that supplied vignettes, full size covers, infographics and also cartoons to meet the needs of graphic editors for both daily and weekly sections.Within this period, I witnessed the company launching yet a new newspaper, Reforma, in Mexico City which was a great challenge for all of us, since we had to serve for two newspapers and compete at a national level. Grupo Reforma is now one of the most influential media groups in Mexico.This has been the most dynamic and chanllening position I've ever held. An incredibly rich and fulfilling experience.
