Saul Meyer holds a degree in International Studies, Art History, and Italian Studies from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He went on to complete his Juris Doctorate at the University of Texas School of Law before earning a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from the same school. Saul Meyer now owns and operates Balam Group, a privately held finance firm that invests in stable companies and real estate. Started in 2009, the firm assembles intricate international and domestic equity and debt transactions. Saul Meyer’s diverse background includes investment banking, real estate, and small business. In 2003, he started a private equity firm that grew into a global powerhouse, managing more than $6 billion in assets. He oversaw the firm’s investment strategies and key investment decisions. Saul Meyer developed a partnership with a high-end bank and then sold the company. Before starting his own business, he managed the private equity division of another firm. His responsibilities included understanding the needs of investors interested in private equity opportunities.Saul Meyer enjoys travel and fitness in his spare time. He served on the Jewish Federation of Dallas and the Greenhill School Alumni Board. He makes his home in Dallas, Texas.
