A football and running connoisseur who also happens to love marketing (especially search). I'm a seasoned search specialist leading the global Paid Search, Mobile/App, YouTube & Display strategy at Rakuten Kobo for multiple business units such as Kobo Plus (subscription), eReaders, and new ALC customer acquisition. Often times, I help formulate the SEM strategy for book retailers & publishers around the globe (such as Feltrinelli, Mondadori, Fnac, Penguin Random House, etc.) while sharing the best practices for a cooperative Dual SEM environment. In my (limited) free time, I love being a useful resource for all-things-GA4 & Merchant/Manufacturer Center, and give presentations on topics such as discuss the future of marketing & the use of AI in supercharging ads. Before joining Rakuten, I was working at GroupM as an Associate Account Manager in the Invest in Canada account (B2B) with the aim of attracting FDI into Canada (using Google & Bing Search and LinkedIn Ads). From July, 2020 to August, 2023, I was working as a Marketing Advisor at Sinopé Technologies, which is the largest home automation company in Canada. I was working directly under the CCO to formulate the entire digital strategy for the business' North America operations. Some of the responsibilities included budget distribution/management, Facebook Ads, Reddit Ads, Spotify Ads, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Taboola, Email Marketing (MailChimp), CRO, data visualization (Looker), creation of attribution analysis, GTM, and more. TL;DR: I was a swiss-knife looking into all things marketing and analytics. l have also worked as an Account Strategist at Google India, wherein I was responsible for optimizing Google Ads, Merchant Centre and Analytics accounts for tons of small, medium, and Fortune 500 businesses. It's because of this role that I specialize in all things Google: Merchant Centre, Manufacturer Centre, Google Looker Studio, Google My Business, Google Analytics, Google Surveys, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Google Optimize, Search Console, DV 360, and more.
