It uses 2.5 GHz to 5.8 GHz frequency band & primary train detection is done through RFID tags with an adequate distance among them ( 8 - 10 m ) .Wi - Fi antenna have been used on the main line at a distance of 250 - 300 m for bi-direction track - train - OCC communication . SELTRACK CBTC Interlocking system from Thales Canada had been used & various onboard ( VOBC , two MRU antenna , TIU ( transponder Interrogator unit ) etc signalling equipment's & wayside signalling equipment's ( RFID Tags , Wi-Fi antenna etc ) had been used in primary train detection & track circuit had been used in the secondary train detection . 3 aspect ( R, Y , V ) signalling had been used in fall-back mode Various interlocking tests had been performed .1. Conducted a bell test .2. Conducted a Continuity test3. Indoor & Outdoor Connectivity Check4. Conducted a Loop Resistance test .5. Conducted a Startup check 6.
