Managed entire launch process interfacing between the BW engineering and manufacturing in Germany and India; and the Ford development team in Australia and manufacturing in Thailand and South Africa. Some launch challenges included working around the 2011 Thailand floods which stopped logistics and manufacturing in the entire area. Other challenges included multi- lingual coordination between the concerned global teams. 2. Responsible for simultaneous engineering of soon to be launched ( 2013) water pump business. Project tasks as responsible Manufacturing Engineer included engineering design reviews, design for manufacturing reviews, process development, PFMEA, capacity planning and manufacturing feasibility and concept planning.

Designed new process flow and layout to automate the 1300 ton injection molding cell using a six axis robot, reducing cycle time by 30% and increasing productivity by 102% Utilized SMED principles and standard work procedures, reducing tool change times by 70%. Initiated new short horizon production scheduling method to reduce system inventory by 20% and lead time to customer by 22%.

Responsible for BIW Manufacturing engineering for Mahindras first 1-tonne LCV - Led build of green field manufacturing facility for BIW manufacturing in Pune. Coordinated all build activities between the Civil engineering team and the different equipment suppliers to ensure on time build. - Responsible for simultaneous engineering and technical procurement of welding equipment and welding fixtures. - led complete prototype builds for body sub assemblies at various project milestones. Led and mentored team of 2 technicians to ensure 100% on time and quality sub assemblies for complete vehicle builds.
