VerdeEn is an early stage company which has developed technology to recycle used batteries in an environment friendly manner. I am being driven by the motivation to create a sustainable business which could both make a social impact as well as create value for the shareholders. I looked at sales, marketing and supply chain functions in India while also helping in the fund-raising to expand the business.The problem which is of particular interest to me is to design a solution for sourcing used batteries which is both a supply chain as well as marketing problem.

I was part of the commercial team at the head office working closely with regional profit centers on the implementation of 'Route to Consumer' initiatives. I designed sales analytics process to help in better decision making, worked on creating monthly and quarterly sales plans and budgeting process. I also drove the sales force automation program and was instrumental in piloting it out in four cities across India.

Led the supply chain operations spanning across order fulfillment, warehousing and distribution. Designed and scaled up the supply chain to handle 10X revenues with better service levels, lower fulfillment cost and broader reach within a span of 2 years.
