It comprised of an online tutorial course on Udemy, case studies of "marketing management by Philip Kotler" , 2 mini projects and a final project. Initially, the course discussed the fundamentals of marketing management. This was followed by improving presentation skills. The book "marketing management by Philip Kotler" was extensively used in the course and it was pure fun to read and learn. At the end of each chapter, there was a marketing excellence case study which discussed success story of popular brands.We also worked on 2 Harvard Business School case studies. We had to compare and contrast between the 3 options available for the firm and recommend the optimal and most impactful option. This internship was at Wave City Center Project, Noida, India. I started off the by identifying the operational sources of delay by using work sampling technique. After identification, I and my fellow intern friend narrowed down our focus on stringer-beam activity and suggested 35% cycle-time improvement using lean tools. We also investigated material handling issues and brought down the number of vehicle exchanges involved. This curtailed the time and cost to the company. We also investigated material handling issues and brought down the number of vehicle exchanges involved. This curtailed the time and cost to the company. During the last week of the internship, we were closely monitoring the floor to floor completion cycle time and were striving to bring it down. We identified a shaft-work being reworked over 18 times in every floor and proposed a better shaft-making methodology to improve the same. During the entire course of time, I met brilliant growth-mindset people at Aecom and it was an amazing experience to work with them. Show less

This was a residential project off Sohna road in Gurgaon. It was my first on-field experience and an enriching one. My role was to assist in differential leveling, profiling and quantity estimation. Learning from the surroundings, I also learned about team coordination, collaboration, and documentation involved in large construction projects.
