Saurabh is an experienced investment professional with a deep passion for tech startups. He currently works as Principal at Sure Valley Ventures, focusing on early-stage software startup investments. His expertise encompasses DevOps Toolsets, AI/ML technologies, IoT developments, and the Fintech sector.Saurabh began his VC journey at Furthr VC, investing in early-stage B2B SaaS and Medical Devices startups in Ireland. His responsibilities ranged from deal origination to execution, and he also supported portfolio companies in product development strategies, financial modelling, and funding strategies.Before entering the VC industry, Saurabh was a Senior Data Scientist at the global investment firm BNY Mellon. There, he engaged with a diverse range of technologies used in startups and enterprises within financial institutions and led data science R&D projects for BNY Mellon clients.Academically, Saurabh holds a 1st class honours degree in Electronics Engineering with a specialisation in Signal Processing & Wireless Communication from VIT, India. He also possesses a 1st class MSc degree in Quantitative Finance from UCD Smurfit Business School and the Yale School of Management.
